Advance One is UK electronic music artist Paul Turner, who has been creating music since 1998 and has released several albums online, as well as remixes and collaborations with other artists from around the world.
Advance One's music is a mix of trance, ambient and experimental styles. It is melodic, emotional, varied, uplifting and sometimes dark. Musical influences include Above & Beyond, BT, Paul Van Dyk, ATB, Solarstone, Markus Schulz and Ferry Corsten.
The first Advance One album released online was 'Connected' in 2001, followed by more albums in subsequent years including several under the aliases Avenue 26 and Tranquilize.
In 2008 new versions of Advance One tracks from the previous ten years were included on an album entitled 'Advanced'.
In 2012 the new Advance One website was launched, to tie in with the release of a new album 'Beta Life'. 2013 saw the release of the 'Points On A Line' album, followed by 'Emerged' in 2015, and in 2018 the '20 Years' album collected remastered and edited versions of 16 tracks previously released between 1998 - 2018.
